Panther Fabrications Ltd. is a medium sized company specialising in structural and architectural metalwork. We work with ferrous and non-ferrous metals, and glass and timber. Our highly skilled personnel have a wide experience in workshop and site disciplines.

We are able to provide a diverse range of products and services including the supply and installation of steel framed structures, architectural feature staircases and atriums. We provide a service tailored to your needs.

STRUCTURAL STEELWORK AND ARCHITECTURAL METALWORK IN STAINLESS STEEL

Panther Fabrications Ltd. can provide a full design service to engineer the best solution for your steel framed structure or work with your architect / engineer to provide the connection design and workshop drawings. Either way we fabricate all types of structural steelwork using fully experienced and qualified welder fabricators. If required we can deliver steelwork to the site and erect it using qualified slinger / signallers and CSCS card-holding erectors.

No job is too big or too small, we are happy to provide a couple of beams for your home extension or the whole structural frame for buildings such as multi-storey offices, flats or car parks.

ARCHITECTURAL METALWORK AND STAINLESS STEEL STAIRCASE DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION

We can provide a full design service, work to your architect's design or match designs to existing fixtures. We provide stainless steel or powder coated steel and glass for homes, offices and public buildings for less prestigious situations. Galvanised steel solutions are provided for outdoor fire escapes. All our staircases are designed to meet current building regulations including part M if required.

Open or closed treads can be provided, manufactured from steel, a variety of hardwoods or steel pans for concrete infilling. All staircases can have non-slip nosing if required.

We can provide balustrade in toughened glass - clear or sand blasted, perforated panels in stainless steel, mild steel or aluminium, vertical bars using ferrous or non-ferrous metals or horizontal tensioned stainless wire. Plain or architectural posts in all metals can be shaped and fabricated to the customers' requirements.

Handrails are provided in painted or galvanised mild steel, polished or satin finished stainless steel and hardwood of your choice.

STAINLESS STEEL AND ARCHITECTURAL METALWORK DESIGN SERVICES

Panther Fabrications Ltd. has long established links with specialist qualified design engineers and drafting companies. We can therefore provide complete design calculations for building regulation submittal, or, working with the client's engineer, provide connection design calculations only.

General arrangement drawings and fabrication details will be produced for client approval prior to fabrication.

ERECTION SERVICES

Our site crews operate from long wheel based transit vans fully equipped as mobile workshops. These vehicles carry safety equipment to comply with current legislation. All our site operatives carry CSCS cards as well as holding appropriate welding, plant operating and slinger / signaller qualifications.

HAULAGE

We operate our own transport for deliveries up to 18t gross. We have a 7½t Mercedes dropside flat bed lorry and an 18t MAN crane assisted Hiab flat bed lorry.

PREMISES

Panther Fabrications Ltd. is located approximately four miles north of Winchester, Hampshire. Our facilities include two separate clear span factory units, one of 6,500ft² and one of 4,500ft². Both are set up with modern equipment and serviced by overhead gantries.

The outside areas, one of 22,500ft² and one of 4,500ft², are serviced by a three and a half tonne forklift and a four tonne side loader. These areas are used for the storage of stock, allocated materials and finished products.

CURRENT AND COMPLETED WORKS

Panther Fabrications Ltd. currently provides services to a number of well-known companies including Barratt Homes Ltd., IBM and the Kier Group.

We have worked on a number of projects throughout the country including prisons, hospitals, places of learning, Ministry of Defence buildings and nuclear facilities. We have also completed works at BSkyB Chilworth and Electronic Arts (Sir Norman Foster Architect) as well as numerous domestic installations.
