ARPI - Portland Cement, Composite Cements, High Performance and Special Cements

ARPI International is one of the leading merchant traders and exporters of industrial engineering products, chemicals, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, energy products, food products, textiles, plastics, petroleum products, urea cement clinker and cement.

Our cement business division is involved in the manufacture and supply of high quality cement products that conform to international standards. Incorporated in 1998, ARPI International supplies bagged cement, bulk cement, cement clinker, white cement, Portland cement, composite cement, high performance cement and special cement products to its customers all over the world. ARPI produces approximately seven million tons of cement products each year.

GREY CEMENT

ARPI supplies grey cement, which consists of Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) and PPC. The OPC cement is available in three grades. It is differentiated by its compressive strength, which is expressed in Mega Pascals (MPa), as specified by the BIS. These grades of grey cement include 53-grade OPC, 43-grade OPC and 33-grade OPC, with 53-grade OPC having the highest compressive strength.

SULPHATE RESISTANT CEMENT

We supply sulphate resistant Portland cement (Type V) that conforms to TIS 15-1989 Type V international standard for Portland cement and the American standard ASTM C150 / BS-12 Type V. The sulphate resistant cement is suitable for concrete works such as bridge foundations, pillars, tunnels, pipelines, etc.

GREY PORTLAND CEMENT

The company offers high-early compressive strength Portland cement that conforms to the Thai industrial standard: TIS 15-2532 type III and the American standard: ASTM C 150 / BS -12 Type III.

ARPI supplies grey Portland cement used in concrete works, which require high-early compressive strength in order to save time for mould removal. The grey Portland cement is used for rushing work such as founding piles, post and beams.

ORDINARY PORTLAND CEMENT (OPC)

The Ordinary Portland Cement is used to make concrete for structural works that require high compressive strength such as roads, bridges, dams, high rises and other types of concrete products. The Ordinary Portland Cement conforms to the Thai Industrial Standard for Portland cement: TIS 15-2532 Type I and the American standard: ASTM C 150 / BS-12 type I.

PORTLAND GREY CEMENT TYPE I/II

The Portland grey cement type I/II is used to make concrete for structural works that require high compressive strength such as roads, bridges, dams, high rises and other types of concrete products.

The Portland grey cement type I/II conforms to the international industrial standard: TIS 15-2532 type III and the American standard: ASTM C 150 / BS -12 Type III. Our range of Portland grey cement type I/II include:

• Portland cements that conform to BS EN 197-1 and CEM I42, 5 standards and are used for standard civil engineering and building applications
• Portland cements with enhanced properties that conform to BS EN 197-1 and CEM I42, 5 52, 5 quality standards and are used for ready mix concrete
• Portland cements that conform to BS EN 197-1 and CEM I52, 5 are used by concrete producers and precast manufacturers

SPECIAL CEMENTS

The company offers a wide range of special cements that include:

• Rockfast shrinkage compensated cement for producing shrinkage compensated concrete, allowing larger concrete pours, reduced cracking and elimination of construction joints
• BBS 6699 ground granulated blast-furnace slag is used in combination with Portland cement in concrete. It is used in concrete containing reactive aggregates, large pours, concrete exposed to sulphates and concrete exposed to chlorides
• Part1 Ash is classified as pulverized fuel ash (pfa) suitable for use in combination with Portland cement (CEMI) in concrete
• Portland slag cement is used for most construction applications

CEMENT CLINKER

ARPI manufactures various kinds of cement clinker that include cement clinker type I / II and cement clinker type I for manufacturing Portland grey cement as per ASTM, BS and European standards.
