TRANSPARENT MEDIA FAÇADES

To get architecture to speak out, GKD collaborated with the "mediatecture" company ag4 media facade GmbH to develop two innovative stainless steel meshes with LEDs woven into them. The two products, MEDIAMESH® and ILLUMESH®, allow for individualised illumination and emotionalisation of façades. MEDIAMESH makes it possible to display high resolution images (e.g. videos) – both in daylight and at night. ILLUMESH is suitable for the night-time illumination of large-scale façades. These metal meshes with integrated LED technology are programmable via a server and can be used to create the most spectacular of transparent media façades.
