On November 27, 2006, Icynene, manufacturer of The Icynene Insulation System®, celebrated its 20th anniversary. In the past two decades, the company has grown to become a major contender in the building and renovation market, offering the Icynene® leading soft-foam insulation and air barrier system. Rather than celebrate this milestone with candles on a cake, the company highlighted the most significant projects featuring Icynene in the last 20 years.

  1. RCMP Northern Community Offices (Whale Cove, Chersterfield Inslet and Kugaruukare, NT): To curb the high cost of heating the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) offices in these Arctic communities, Icynene was installed in the walls, ceilings and floors - delivering ideal R-value and optimal air-sealing in one step.
