International Protective Coatings is a global market leader in providing high-performance coatings for steel structures. We provide functional coatings for corrosion control, passive fire protection and high aesthetic impact, with excellent gloss and colour retention. INTERNATIONAL PROTECTIVE COATINGS – DELIVERING SOLUTIONS THROUGH GLOBAL EXPERIENCEInternational Protective Coatings has a successful global track record on major construction projects, having coated structures such as the Millennium Bridge in London, UK, Pudong Airport, China, the Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004 Olympic Complexes, plus various buildings for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, including the National Swimming Centre, or 'the Water Cube'. PAINT TECHNOLOGY WITH HIGH AESTHETIC IMPACTInterfine® is the name for International Protective Coating's range of high performance finish coatings, which provide a high gloss finish, with excellent colour and gloss retention. The Interfine range also has good abrasion and damage resistance and a low Volatile Organic Compound content (VOC), assisting in reducing solvent emissions. The Interfine range is available in a full range of colours via the Chromascan remote colour matching system, meaning that project shades can be met rapidly, in small volumes whenever necessary, allowing easy touch-up either on-site or prior to shipment. STEEL COATINGS WITH FIRE PROTECTIONThe Interchar® range of products is ideally suited to providing fire protection for structural steel in facilities such as office buildings, stadia, power stations, shopping malls, hospitals, industrial complexes, hotels and airports. Interchar performance coupled with aesthetically pleasing attributes allows designers to combine effective fire protection with the creative design, on exposed steelwork for example. International Protective Coatings provides both acrylic intumescent and epoxy intumescent fire protection products under the International brand, for a range of protection at various fire ratings, all with fully audited external approvals. The Interchar range has many relevant approvals across the world, including BS476, UL263, GB14907, AS1530.4, BOMBA, GOST and Certifire. Leading independent fire laboratories are utilised to conduct fire testing on those products, including Bodycote Warrington.
