KAMI, a daughter enterprise of Lafarge Roofing, operates mainly in Eastern Europe, as well as the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, the UK and Japan. It specialises in high-quality coated metal roofing systems. Based on extensive Scandinavian experience in lightweight roofing, KAMI products are a combination of cost-effectiveness, design, and safety. The wide range of KAMI products guarantees extreme wear-resistance and outstanding durability. This is all thanks to the additional coating applied to Plegel roof pieces after formation, which serves to encapsulate potential micro-cracks and close-sheared edges that may arise after the shaping of the sheet. This approach is not matched in the market, underscoring the business line's demand for high quality products. KAMI products also have a creative aspect: seven colours and two profiles satisfy every possible desire.
The zinc sheet roofing TerraPLEGEL Hi-Load has an especially thick substrate, with two matte-finish polyester resin coatings and a quartz sand layer. Furthermore, this highly regarded roof solution (as well as PlusPLEGEL and TerraPLEGEL) has an additional post-manufacture coating. TerraPLEGEL unites the strength of a galvanized metal roof deck with the natural look of quartz sand coating. The tiled roofing pieces also have a durable steel substrate with double-sided hot-dip galvanisation. Lower protective lacquering and a passivation layer provide additional protection, aiming to guard against poor weather conditions and vandalism. KAMI guarantees this product against corrosion for 30 years.

AluPLEGEL, with its PVC-free coating, is able to meet practically any demand. Thanks to its especially light substrate, it weighs 50% less than conventional metal roof sidings. PlusPLEGEL also has a multi-layer structure - an update of the proven PLEGEL product, offering particularly good protection against scratches and corrosion. PLEGEL is the classic original KAMI product. It offers cost-effectiveness as well as endurance. PLEGEL is resistant to excessive loads, thanks to its PVC-free, matte-finish polyester coating.
But customers do not just benefit from high-quality materials and great processing; they feel the KAMI difference as soon as they start assembling a new roof. These entirely seamless components, supplied in standard lengths from 1.150mm to 3.250mm, can be assembled quickly and therefore economically. KAMI roofing pieces do not require additional sealant for the pre-existing roof, and are suitable for pitches of 10° or more. The pieces are lightweight and therefore suitable for construction with low static load tolerance. For all of these reasons, KAMI metal roofing elements are a practical alternative to traditional roofs.
