Johanson Design is proud of all its designs and products, which include a broad range of chairs, barstools, soft seating and tables. Our design team consists of an in-house group of designers mixed with well-known foreign and Swedish architects and designers. Johanson Design is one of the market leaders for furniture for use in the leisure industry such as bars, hotels and restaurants. Johanson Design furniture is also extremely popular within airports and offices.

COMFORTABLE AND RELAXING CHAIRS

Johanson Design manufactures a range of comfortable and relaxing chairs suitable for use in a number of different environments. All chairs are custom made to order. This allows you to choose the type of material for upholstery, and the style and finish of the base.

B-BITZ: MODULAR FURNITURE DESIGN

B-bitz is a fun and exciting concept created by Johanson Design. There are 24 different pieces in the B-bitz range that will allow your imagination to run riot. You can join pieces together to make funky communal seating or scatter individual cubes to give a sophisticated modern look to any bar, club or rest area.

With the option of attaching backs to any of the pieces, you can create a relaxing lounge area. Unlike large sofas, B-bitz can be moved quickly and easily. The range includes 84 different colours of vinyl, which gives even more scope for interesting and colourful furniture combinations. B-bitz accessories are also available, allowing you to add shelves, lights, armrests or trays to your furniture creations.

MODERN AND SOPHISTICATED BARSTOOLS

Johanson Design offers a range of comfortable barstools making any bar, club or kitchen unit look modern and sophisticated. All barstools can be custom made to any height and are also available with an adjustable gas lift.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY FURNITURE DESIGN

Johanson Design aims to use raw materials and methods of furniture production that are entirely healthy for the environment, and we require our suppliers to do the same. All steel parts are recyclable and no tropical wood is used - only beech and birch. Before we finish the chrome / gold / lacquer all grease and oil is removed by alkaline wash and then sent for destruction.

The lacquer finish is produced by an electrostatic epoxy powder coating that gives the minimum of waste and is also recyclable. The limited number of plastic parts that are used are recyclable by grinding. All upholstery and frames of synthetic material are totally without any CFC emissions and all glues are water-based.

Our Perstorp high-pressure laminate tops can be burnt after use without releasing any poisonous emissions. We are members of Reparegistret AB who arrange collection and recycling of used packing materials and we use only recyclable packing materials during transit.
