Clearvision Lighting - Indoor Workplace Lighting

Clearvision has established itself over the past decade as a leading company in ergonomic workplace lighting. Specialising in lighting for offices, schools and hospitals the company has built a range of products to meet the needs of the highest standard projects for light quality and energy use.

The following are some examples of our ‘best in class’ daylight indoor lighting products.

Kallista modular daylight indoor lighting system

The Kallista range of modular lighting embodies several key principles we think are important in the modern workplace. Firstly, there is the mix of visual comfort, good output (up to 79% LOR) and the stimulation of high circadian factor. Then there is the flexibility of interchangeable lenses, multiple lamp formats and different dimming options. Finally, the environmental and life-cycle cost benefits of replaceable elements (reflectors/geartrays/optics) that can extend the product life beyond that of the individual components.

Sky² indoor daylight lighting system

This is a larger format fitting (up to 1,500mm²) using a stretch membrane diffuser within a hinged door construction. It produces a very white striking appearance that can give high light levels with very little glare.

Sky² has been used in multiple arrays to produce very comfortable daylight type working conditions – the effect is similar to a large skylight. A Circada version combines warmer and cooler white colour lamps on dimmable gear to produce a dynamic range of colour and intensity to mimic daylight.

A further red, green and blue (RGB) version takes this technology further, using lamps of the primary colours to combine into a wide chromatic range (including white) of mood shifting application.

Fluorescent, halogen and LED indoor downlighting

Clearvision has a range of downlights in fluorescent, halogen and LED light formats. There are both square and round products to offer some visual variety. The Dark Star fitting is a 100mm architectural downlight that has been popular in its halogen format, but is also ideal as the basis for an LED ceiling recessed spot. Two years has been spent developing LED technology that will really deliver acceptable technical performance, which has not been possible before.

Suspended indoor lighting systems

We also supply a range of interesting suspended fittings. The Xeo is just one example - a distinctive suspended product in a large square format, which capitalises on Clearvision’s expertise in making lenses. The Xeo can offer a range of up and/or down options with high efficiency and striking appearance. The product can be delivered in Circada or RGB versions to add an excellent feature to workplace, retail or public area space.

Holistic lighting solutions

It is increasingly common for some customers to wish to obtain a whole lighting project from one company. The problem is sometimes that no one company has sufficient breadth of product range to satisfy the visual variety and optimum performance needed.

To this end Clearvision works with a small group of quality companies to source products outside our own range to meet the specified requirements regarding both functionality and aesthetic appeal. In these instances we maintain responsibility for all factors of the project, such as quality, design engineering and lighting controls, so that there is genuinely one single name to stand behind the finished project.

About Clearvision

Our first Virtual Daylight® products were introduced in 1997. These were the first daylight lighting products used in general lighting applications. They led, by more than five years, the rest of the industry in applying circadian factor as a key component in workplace ergonomics.

Clearvision is certain about the need to support the wider design process in the application of our products. Our project design teams work with architects, designers, consultants and contractors to provide CAD layouts, Dialux light engineering and energy calculations.

As a responsible manufacturer we take the environment seriously and are constantly developing new methods of improving energy efficiency and reducing future waste and environmental impact.
