Inlay supplies and lays a wide range of resin-based surfacing throughout the UK, including resin-bound and bonded systems. We offer a range of colours, and aggregate and recycled glass types to add an attractive feature to any landscape, city or urban environment. RESIN-BOUND AND TREE PIT SURFACING Resin-bound surfacing and tree pit surfacing offers a fully bound system with no loose aggregate in a wide range of colours, providing an attractive, easy to maintain surface that avoids the trip hazards and build up of litter associated with traditional metal grilles or shingle, and also facilitates ease-of-cleaning for mechanical sweepers. The open texture of the surfacing ensures a highly porous structure which allows water to freely permeate through to a tree’s roots. RESIN-BONDED SURFACE DRESSING Resin bonded surface dressing is an established system which creates the appearance of gravel on a hard wearing surface. Inlay is able to offer resin surface dressing using either epoxy or a polyurethane two part binder system. Our surface dressing can be used with a wide range of both natural and pigmented aggregates, giving a durable and positive textured surface which is ideal for pedestrianised areas, pathways, cycle ways, car parks, traffic calming and anti-skid applications. We also offer an anti-skid system suitable for highways using natural or coloured bauxite aggregate. STREETPRINT PAVING SYSTEMS Streetprint paving systems offer a rapid process for imprinting hot-rolled asphalt or macadam to give it the appearance of blocks, bricks or slabs. The imprinted surface can then be sprayed in any colour or pattern required. Streetprint eliminates weed growth, cracking and brick loss / shifting due to freeze / thaw cycles, and is easily patched. For heavily trafficked areas street print can be installed using coloured asphalt. SUSTAINABLE URBAN DRAINAGE SYSTEMS (SUDS) The Environment Agency has long since recognised the need to manage water run-off from hard surfacing. Inlay’s resin-bound surfacing system is permeable and, if laid onto a permeable surface such as open textured macadam, will prevent standing water and encourage rapid drainage to the underlying ground. Building regulations for England show the preferred disposal methods for surface water are infiltration on site, discharge to water course and connection to a sewer. Specifying Inlay’s resin-bound surfacing system will demonstrate to planning authorities the implementation of a sustainable drainage system.
