INTEGRATED ACCESS CONTROL AND INTRUDER ALARMS SYSTEMS

Cardax FT is a comprehensive Microsoft® Windows® based security system that integrates access control and alarms management, intruder alarms, intercom, and photo identification. Complemented with a range of interfaces - DVR / CCTV and digital intercom systems, for example - it provides a platform for integrated site security.

The system is scalable and highly configurable to meet site specific requirements. Reflecting this flexibility, Cardax FT systems have been installed internationally on sites across a range of sectors, including:

CONSOLIDATING SECURITY ONTO ONE MANAGEMENT PLATFORM

Cardax FT enables organisations to control who can go where and when. The system has been designed to accommodate the demands of multi-tenanted and multi-site scenarios with system division (partitioning) and operator privileges restricting who can view information and perform functions within the system. The system's reporting ability provides a full audit trail of events.

In addition to the attractive range of Cardax readers (available in 125kHz and Mifare smart card technologies), industry standard Wiegand format readers are supported. For retrofits where retaining existing cards is highly desirable, the universal card format software feature enables multiple third-party Wiegand card formats to be supported in the system. This is a great feature for organisations wanting to consolidate security onto one management platform.

The XML interface enables cardholder data to be shared with other people-management systems facilitating a single source of cardholder data entry and maintenance, reduced data errors, and less time and money spent on database management. The system uses industry standard OPC interfacing to link to building management systems to achieve efficiencies in energy such as lighting and air-conditioning.

Software maintenance agreements enable organisations to keep pace with technology developments including Microsoft operating platforms.

PERIMETER SECURITY ELECTRIC FENCE SYSTEMS

PowerFence™ security electric fence systems actively deter would-be intruders and detect attackers at the perimeter. As our many customers attest, PowerFence™ systems are, without a doubt, safe. They meet international safety standards.

Authorised dealers undertake rigorous training to ensure that they are fully capable of installing PowerFence™ systems in line with the Gallagher Code of Practice. The code of practice outlines the minimum standards for system reliability, safety, site security and installation.

SOPHISTICATED SECURITY BARRIERS

PowerFence™ systems can be customised to cater for all types of environments. For a corporate site, a PowerFence™ perimeter fence can effectively establish a security barrier whilst conveying a professional, sophisticated image. For sites with specific architectural or heritage elements, such as existing fence lines, PowerFence™ systems can be installed to ensure that the protected feature remains untouched.

Advanced PowerFence™ Trophy systems are divided into zones which are individually monitored so that in the event of an attack the security response team can quickly locate the zone affected and respond appropriately.

The PowerFence™ Trophy FT system is supported through high-level integration with Cardax FT. Combined with DVR / CCTV, the effect is layered site security supported with a comprehensive audit trail of events.
