Wavin Success at Industry Awards

Wavin Plastics has scooped a prestigious industry accolade after being named Scottish Water’s Supplier of The Year 2007.
The award was presented to Wavin’s divisional managing director, David Jones, during a ceremony held at Hampden Park in Glasgow.
David comments: “Winning this award is a real coup for the team. Working with Scottish Water is very complex due to the size of their rehabilitation and construction programme. This creates many day to day challenges, not least of which is successfully delivering bulky goods to some very remote and inaccessible places within short timeframes. For Wavin to be recognised in this way is a real honour.”
Phil Solan and Davy Gibbon from Wavin’s distribution centre in Brandon also received praise for their efforts along with Kirstie Deighton who works in Production Personnel at Wavin Plastics’ Chippenham operation.
Wavin Plastics is no stranger to receiving awards from Scottish Water. In 2006 Scottish Water presented Wavin with its Most Improved Supplier award.
