Elisabeth Fischer joined NRI Digital as an online features writer in February 2011, reporting on current issues for the pharmaceutical, power, packaging, as well as design and construction sectors.

As a graduate from the City University London with an MA degree in International Journalism, she is particularly interested in global social and political issues. She also concluded a BA degree in Communications Science at the University of Salzburg in Austria, and attended an exchange year at the University of Tallaght in Dublin, Ireland in 2008.

Prior to her engagement with NRI, she gained work experience across a wide range of Italian, German and English media companies, including Campden Media, the BBC drama press office and the weekly political news magazine FF Suedtiroler Wochenmagazin. She currently also freelances for a German online news service in South Tyrol, Italy.
