Lamp Lighting

Lamp Lighting's Lights at Zapadores and Americo Vespucio Metro Stations

Date
25 Jul 2007

Abstract

For the lighting of Zapadores and Americo Vespucio stations on the Santiago de Chile Metro, Lamp Lighting established the intention of integrating the lighting equipment to the architecture in order for these to disappear from the visual field leaving only the light and the architecture as an 'absent lighting system'.

The general technical criteria – such as the type of quality of the light sources used, the lighting levels, the level of visual comfort, the temperature of colour – were defined in accordance to the particular condition of the service required for each one of the public spaces, like accesses, mezzanines, stairs and sidewalks.
