This year’s Emirates Glass LEAF Awards will be hosted by actor, writer and comedian Neil Mullarkey.
Neil Mullarkey did a double-act with Mike Myers, with whom he founded the Comedy Store Players, Europe's top improv troupe in 1985. He has appeared in many television and radio shows (for example, Whose Line Is it Anyway, I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue, QI, Have I Got News For You, Just A Minute) and Austin Powers movies (International Man of Mystery and Goldmember).
He has given his Improvyourbiz workshops for organisations such as Microsoft, the BBC, KPMG, Saatchi & Saatchi, Unilever, Deloitte, and various business schools. He is sought after for his humorous approach and insights into the connections between improvisational theatre and leadership, communication and creativity.
His experience in management training led him to create his alter ego, L. Vaughan Spencer (The Gangsta Motivator), whose show Don't Be Needy Be Succeedy won the Edinburgh Fringe award for Best Satire and has played theatres and conferences across the world. L-Vo (as he is known to the hip) has written a book Don't Be Needy - Be Succeedy: The A to Zee of Motivitality which is published by Profile Books at the end of 2008.
"L-Vo is to life coaching what Alan Partridge is to broadcasting" METRO
"Superb pastiche of self-help gurus. It’s Borat meets The Office." SUNDAY TIMES
"Mullarkey's monstrous monologue is a side-splitting send-up of motivational gobbledygook, twisting language until the laughs cascade. Eerily life-enhancing comedy." EVENING STANDARD

Other entertainment on the night will be by Kit and the Widow; a great comedy double act.
