Hadid Architecture HQ Project Scrapped

15 February 2008

Plans for the UK Architecture Foundation headquarters, which would have been Zaha Hadid's first completed design in England, have been scrapped after three years of work.

The project ran into difficulties over agreeing a suitable tender.

The £5m scheme in Southwark, London, was to be located on the eastern edge of Land Securities' Bankside 123 development.
