London Office Block "Lumpy Glass Box"

17 March 2008

An office block planned for Cheapside in London has been labelled a "dinosaur" and a "lumpy glass box" by architect Robert Adam.

John McAslan's planned office block, close to St Paul's Cathedral, has also attracted criticism from the World Monuments Fund, despite winning approval from English Heritage.

A planning application for the building has been submitted by developer St Martins and a decision is expected later on this year.
