Laing O’Rourke has been selected by Mosley Street Ventures to redevelop its office building Two St Peters Square on Mosley Street Manchester.

Redevelopment of the existing building has commenced and the project is scheduled to be completed in January 2017.

The office will have 161,113ft² of space across 11-storeys. Two St Peter’s Square will have 5,142ft² of ground floor leisure space, as well as car parking to accommodate 72 vehicles.

The new building will require an investment of more than £80m.

Plans for the proposed building, which is claimed to serve as an addition to Manchester’s commercial portfolio, were submitted in 2013.

The proposed high-rise office building in Manchester, England, has been designed by SimpsonHaugh and Partners.

Throughout the design evolution the company has consulted with Manchester City Council.
