Trimble has started construction on a second building, expanding its campus in Westminster, Colorado, US.

Expected to accommodate more than 1,100 workers, the employment centre is intended to serve as a central business hub for the firm’s core market segments, such as construction, agriculture and geospatial.

The new facility will be designed to include more co-working areas, a walkway connection between the two buildings and an outdoor amphitheatre.

For planning, construction and operational phases of the new building, the contractors, surveyors, architects and designers are set to use more than 50 of the firm’s solutions for improved efficiency.

The capabilities will be used by general contractor JE Dunn and trade partners in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, layout and concrete to optimise work and coordinate with other stakeholders.
