Maurice J Gallagher Jr Hall, which houses UC Davis Graduate School of Management at the University of California, has secured LEED Platinum certification from the US Green Building Council.
The 83,000ft² building houses Gallagher Hall and the adjacent UC Davis Conference Centre and was designed to use 30% less energy than a typical office building.
The university is also planning to install a solar power array on the building’s roof.
The San Francisco office of Sasaki Associates designed the $34m Graduate School of Management and Conference Centre project.
