iRubber supplies a range of natural and synthetic rubber products for a range of installations and interior applications.

With more than 28 years of experience in the rubber flooring industry, we provide solutions for rooms, offices, walls, benches and stairs.

Our flooring systems are suitable for residential areas, schools, hospitals, marine vessels and airports.

Benefits of rubber flooring

Made with synthetic SBR or ‘industrial rubber’, the environmentally friendly Dalsouple® flooring is warm and soft underfoot, anti-slip, safe for children and animals, and suitable for allergy sufferers.

Our highly resilient rubber flooring can withstand high passenger traffic in airports.
Dur Hospitality, a Saudi Arabian hospitality company, has introduced a new hygiene programme as it prepares to resume operations.
The Dalsouple Marine Grade (DMG) flooring is used in a wide range of vessels.
iRubber’s flooring is an alternative to concrete in school play areas, and is more durable than tiles and linoleum for indoor applications.
Our easy-to-clean flooring offers a smooth surface, making it easier to transport patients on wheelchairs and stretchers.
REMP Hyperclean can be used to clean tiles and floors.

Dalsouple rubber tiles are also liquid-resistant, making them ideal for kitchens, bathrooms and laundry areas.

Available in a wide range of any colour and texture 20m²+, Dalsoupleflooring provides a long-lasting solution. It can also be recycled at the end of its life and will not end up in landfill in comparison to vinyl or PVC.

Marine rubber flooring

Dalsouple Marine Grade (DMG) flooring is used worldwide on marine vessels such as passenger ships, ocean liners, ferries, cruisers, patrol boats, naval warships and submarines.

Standard Dalsouple rubber complies with IMO grade, marine flame-resistant (MFR) to IMO Res MSC 61 (67) standards, as well as relevant fire regulations such as DIN 51961, DIN 4102, M2, and BS 4700.

Dalsouple DMG flooring is available in any colour and texture and has a ten-year guarantee. Used in galley ways, cabins, heads, bridges and decks, it provides a tactile soft and quiet flooring with anti-slip qualities and can even be magnetised.

Dalsouple rubber flooring creates a barrier that reduces sounds and vibrations in boats and cabins, which effectively decreases noise pollution.

Rubber flooring for schools and universities

Dalsouple rubber flooring can withstand the impact of hundreds of students.

Our versatile flooring has already been used in many schools across Australia due to its soft surface and long lifespan. It’s an alternative to concrete in play areas and is more durable than tiles and linoleum for indoor applications.

Dalsouple rubber flooring is:

  • Shock-absorbent, minimising the risk of breakage and personal injury
  • Durable in order to ensure a high return on investment
  • Resistant to daily wear and tear, preventing the need for replacement
  • A soft surface that’s comfortable for children to sit and walk on
  • Easy to maintain and keep clean

Anti-slip flooring for airports

iRubber’s flooring solutions are suitable for congested travel hubs such as airports due to its safe, non-slip and shock-absorbent capabilities, as anti-fatigue adds to comfort while standing in queues.

It helps to prevent accidents and falls caused by rushing staff and travellers, which reduces the risk of personal injury.

Other benefits include:

  • A durable and long-lasting surface that can withstand heavy pedestrian traffic
  • Ease of maintenance, making it suitable for large, open areas that would normally take a long time to clean
  • A long lifespan that can last up to 20 years, making it a cost-effective option in comparison with other flooring materials that require regular replacement

Past projects include Heathrow Airport, Los Angeles Airport, Brisbane Domestic Airport and Melbourne International Airport.

Rubber stair treads

Dalsouple rubber stair treads are available in a wide range of styles but are usually round stud profiled in a 3.1mm thickness with a number of widths between 0.91m (3ft) and 1.82m (6ft).

Our stair treads are available in the Uni-Step solution, which comprises stair and riser as a single complete unit.

Our rubber treads help to prevent slips and falls, while our stair nosing improves visibility by highlighting the edge of each step. Our range is also available in more than 80 colours so you’ll find a suitable yet highly visible match for staircases.

Our stair nosing systems improve visibility, marking the edge of each step to ensure it can be clearly seen in low light.

Soundproof apartment flooring

Dalsouple rubber provides a sound-absorbing flooring solution for apartments, as it reduces echoing to ensure neighbours are not disrupted.

Rubber apartment flooring is comfortable for residents to stand and walk on and it doesn’t retain temperature, unlike cold tiles or hot carpet.

It is shock-absorbent, waterproof, and easy to clean and maintain, ensuring it won’t be damaged or stained by spillages. In some cases, flooding damage to apartments below may be reduced.

We also supply specialised rubber flooring solutions for kitchens and bathrooms.

Antibacterial flooring for hospitals and medical facilities

Hospitals and medical centres must maintain high levels of cleanliness as sterile environments minimise bacterial infection rates and the spread of germs and viruses.

iRubber’s flooring is easy-to-clean, durable, and also offers a smooth surface, which simplifies patients being transported on wheelchairs and stretchers.

Our solutions offer:

  • An affordable and cost-effective form of flooring
  • A smooth surface to facilitate transportation of wheelchairs, patient trolleys and beds
  • Increased comfort to doctors and nurses who are always on their feet, minimising fatigue
  • Easy cleaning maintenance, which is beneficial for hospital or medical environments
  • Anti-slip material ranging from R9 to R10, contributing to overall hospital safety

Rubber coving

In conjunction with Roppe Pinnacle Base, Dalsouple’s DalCove rubber coving product is waterproof, durable and long-lasting, making it a cost-effective option.

It is primarily used to add an attractive finish to a room or hide imperfections that can appear at the junction between a wall and ceiling, such as holes and cracks.

Covered imperfections can greatly improve the appearance of a room, resulting in a finish that also adds texture and depth.

Non-toxic multi-enzyme cleaning solutions

The REMP Hyperclean No-Rinse Floor Cleaner contains a multi-enzyme formula that is designed to break down grease, oil and food waste.

It is recommended for all surfaces and grouting in kitchens and bathrooms, including tiles and lino, concrete and wood floors.

More effective in comparison to caustic products, it is also safe for use with automatic and foaming machines and manual application at low temperatures.

REMP Hyperclean leaves a non-slip film on the floor surface after cleaning, which increases worker and customer safety in the foodservice environment and great for boats as it is less polluting to waterways and biota.
