Arch Timber Protection Receive 5-Star Feedback

Arch Timber Protection has seen an increase in the number of CPD Training Seminar attendees awarding their presenters five-star feedback at the start of 2010.

Participators from throughout the UK within the timber and specification industries commented on the presentation’s content and usefulness after providing post-seminar feedback. The content of the seminars conducted by Arch Timber Protection has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuing Professional Development (CPD) guidelines. All those who partake receive a certificate confirming their attendance.

Arch Timber offers two different CPD Technical Presentations directed by the Arch Sales Team, who each have a wealth of experience within the industry and extensive product knowledge. The Preservative Treatments for Timber Based Products seminar offers information on the latest product developments and advises on the most appropriate preservative treatment for the timber’s eventual end use. Mark Pescod, Arch Timber Protection’s UK Sales Manager, believes that the seminars prove invaluable to Specifiers in highlighting the extended service life and enhanced properties that can be given to timber. “The majority of feedback we receive back from the seminars indicates that Specifiers, particularly Architects, are making the most of our most sustainable building material”, says Mark. “The general consensus is that they find the information regarding treatments to meet specific use classes the most beneficial”.

Arch Timber Protection also offers a CPD Technical Seminar focusing on Fire Retardant Treatments for Timber Based Products. The presentation highlights the latest test procedures and standards within the industry and offers Specifiers advice regarding the importance of proven treatments.

Timber is still our most sustainable and versatile construction material. Just like any other material, protecting it against the threat of fire is one of...
When it is identified that fire protection is required for timber cladding there is a clear choice of industrially applied impregnation treatments or coating products.
