Arch Timber Protection, part of the wider Lonza Group, has confirmed that it will be participating in the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) 2012 CPD Providers Roadshow for the first time. The industry leaders in wood preservation and fire retardant technology hope to meet specifiers and other construction professionals at five free events throughout Great Britain and Northern Ireland interested in learning more on fire retardant treatment for timber-based products.
Arch will be attending the full-day events in York, Belfast, London and Birmingham throughout 2012, where those involved in the specification of services and materials are able to gain up-to-date information and industry guidance and on the initial factors to be considered in the safe specification of fire protected construction timbers, as well as learning more about new product developments and innovations now available. Those specifiers working towards or looking to retain their chartered architect status under the RIBA CPD scheme will also earn CPD points with each session lasting one hour with a total of five subject presentations scheduled throughout the day.
All CPD sessions provided by Arch and other RIBA CPD providers, are accredited under the RIBA CPD core curriculum in health and safety, climate, external management, internal management, compliance, building procurement and contracts, designing and building it, where we live, context and access for all. Lunch and refreshments will be provided at all CPD Roadshows, with the exception of the London events.
