Albrecht Jung was founded in 1912 in Schalksmühle, located in the Sauerland region of North-Rhine Westphalia, Germany. Over the course of 100 successful years, the company has established itself as a specialist for electrical switches and systems under the motto "Progress as a Tradition".

JUNG manufactures its products in Germany. At our sites in Schalksmühle and Lünen, we continuously manufacture high-quality products on which our worldwide customers rely. For this reason, JUNG was awarded a certificate in 2011 -the company was the first manufacturer in North-Rhine Westphalia to be awarded the ‘Made in Germany’ certificate by TÜV NORD.

In May 2012, JUNG’s brand strength was recognised when it received the ‘Most Innovative Brand of the Year’ Plus X Award in the electrical and media products category.
