Visitors to the G09 Regional exhibition at Wembley can learn more about warm edge without tears or fears. Leading warm edge manufacturer Swisspacer has signed up to exhibit at the show. Swisspacer will be showcasing products to potential customers as it opens up the market with its revolutionary, no-investment- needed warm edge solution.
A report by IFT Rosenheim, on behalf of the Bundesverband Flachglas (BF, the German Federal Flat Glass Association), shows Swisspacer V has the best PSI thermal value when used in PVC-U, timber, timber-aluminium composites and aluminium windows compared to other warm edge spacers. While Swisspacer V outperforms other warm edge spacers, it exactly matches the shape and external dimensions of aluminium spacers. So sealed unit manufacturers can use their existing machinery (a big saving in today’s market) to make sealed units that allow WERS A ratings to be achieved.
