Conservatory Outlet, based in Wakefield, England, started using Swisspacer 18 months ago and hasn’t looked back since. Managing director Matthew Glover chose Swisspacer’s warm edge spacer bar for its rigidity and good thermal performance. He said, “We wanted to be able to offer top performing energy rated windows and I liked the fact that Swisspacer’s bar is a rigid bar.”

All of Conservatory Outlet’s energy rated windows use Swisspacer and sales are growing. Although forthcoming legislation demands C ratings as a minimum standard, Conservatory Outlet has found its A rated Solaris Energy Plus windows are outselling the others. Matthew explains, “We make up to 1,000 frames a week, and as window energy ratings become more of a requirement we are promoting our A rated windows. I believe anticipating the trend has given us a sales advantage over our competitors and delivered the quality our customers demand.”
