Monodraught has announced the opening of an office near Hannover to market its range of natural daylight and ventilation systems in Germany. Jens Heuer, who has been appointed as technical sales consultant, will work with export manager, Pedro Millan, to continue to develop Monodraught sales in this key European market.

Commenting on his appointment, Jens Heuer says: “2010 is the tenth anniversary of Germany’s Eenewable Energy Act, which has helped cover over 10% of the country’s total energy consumption using alternative energy sources. I believe there is a real opportunity for the windcatcher, sunpipe and cool-phase systems and I relish the challenge of working with Pedro to further develop Monodraught’s natural daylight and ventilation business in Germany.”

To support the new office, Monodraught will be exhibiting at the January BAU 2011 exhibition in Munich; and at ISH 2011 in Frankfurt, in March.
