The industry’s overall hiring decreased by 1.99% in July 2021 compared with June 2021.

Top five construction companies in Canada IT recruitment activity in July 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 21.05% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Canada construction industry during July 2021 over June 2021.
Hatch posted 45 IT jobs in July 2021 and registered a rise of 50% over the previous month, followed by Altus Group with 14 jobs and a 250% growth. WSP Global with 13 IT jobs and Stantec with 13 jobs, recorded a 62.5% growth and a 59.38% decline, respectively, while Amica Mature Lifestyles recorded a 250% increase with 7 job postings during July 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 60.84%, flat growth from June 2021. Mid Level positions with a 20.98% share, a growth of 30.43% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 16.08% share, up 27.78% over June 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 2.1%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
