France construction industry registered a 3.9% rise in IT hiring activity in June 2021 compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics index.
The industry’s overall hiring an increased by 3.71% in June 2021 compared with May 2021.
Out of the construction industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 1.14% share in June 2021, recording an increase of 0.03% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in France construction industry’s IT recruitment activity in June 2021
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France construction industry in June 2021.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 49.12% in June 2021, a 21.74% growth over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 22.81% share, decline of 13.33% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 17.54%, registering a 41.18% decline from May 2021.
4) Computer and Information Research Scientists captured a share of 8.77%, up 25% over the previous month.
Top five construction companies in France IT recruitment activity in June 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 60.71% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France construction industry during June 2021 over May 2021.
Manitou BF posted 11 IT jobs in June 2021 and registered a rise of 22.22% over the previous month, followed by Bouygues with 10 jobs and a 66.67% growth. Vinci with 9 IT jobs and Eiffage with 9 jobs, recorded an 80% growth and a 28.57% increase, respectively, while SYSTRA MVA Consulting (India) recorded a 500% an increase with 6 job postings during June 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 68.42%, down by 4.88% from May 2021. Entry Level positions with a 22.81% share, a decline of 7.14% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 8.77% share, down 28.57% over May 2021.
