Germany construction industry registered an 8.3% decline in IT hiring activity in June 2021 compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics index.
The industry’s overall hiring decreased by 5.29% in June 2021 compared with May 2021.
Out of the construction industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 2.57% share in June 2021, recording an increase of 0.25% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Germany construction industry’s IT recruitment activity in June 2021
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany construction industry in June 2021.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 55.74% in June 2021, a 26.09% drop over the previous month.
2) Computer and Information Analysts claimed a 27.87% share, an flat growth over the previous month.
3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 11.48%, registering a 40% rise from May 2021.
4) Database and Network Administrators and Architects captured a share of 3.28%, down 80% over the previous month.
Top five construction companies in Germany IT recruitment activity in June 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 1.96% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany construction industry during June 2021 over May 2021.
Eberspacher Climate Control Systems GmbHKG posted 38 IT jobs in June 2021 and registered a drop of 11.63% over the previous month, followed by GSW Immobilien with 6 jobs and a 200% growth. Bauer with 3 IT jobs and Bilfinger with 3 jobs, recorded a 50% growth and a 50% increase, respectively, while Strabag recorded a flat growth with 2 job postings during June 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 52.46%, down by 30.43% from May 2021. Mid Level positions with a 29.51% share, a decline of 25% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 18.03% share, up 10% over May 2021.
