Germany’s construction industry registered a 10.5% rise in IT hiring activity in August 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 19.56% in August 2021 when compared with July 2021.
Out of the construction industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 2.44% share in August 2021, recording a decrease of 0.27% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Germany’s construction industry’s IT recruitment activity in August 2021
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 98.88% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s construction industry in August 2021.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 74.16% in August 2021, registering a flat growth over the previous month.
2) Computer and Information Analysts claimed a 14.61% share, an increase of 62.5% over the previous month.
3) Computer and Information Research Scientists held a share of 4.49%, registering a 33.33% rise from July 2021.
4) Database and Network Administrators and Architects captured a share of 3.37%, down 50% over the previous month.
Top five construction companies in Germany’s IT recruitment activity in August 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 14.49% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s construction industry during August 2021 over July 2021.
Eberspacher Climate Control Systems GmbHKG posted 45 IT jobs in August 2021 and registered a rise of 18.42% over the previous month, followed by Strabag with 17 jobs and a 21.43% growth. Liebherr-International with 10 IT jobs and Bilfinger with 4 jobs, recorded a 42.86% flat growth and a 33.33% flat growth, respectively, while Trelleborg recorded a decline of 57.14% with 3 job postings during August 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in August 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 77.53%, up by 2.99% from July 2021. Entry Level positions with a 15.73% share, registered a flat growth compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 6.74% share, up 100% over July 2021.
