Germany’s food service industry IT recruitment activity drops 1.3%  in August 2021

Germany’s food service industry registered a 1.3% drop in IT hiring activity in August 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring increased by 0.24% in August 2021 when compared with July 2021.

Out of the food service industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed an 18.32% share in August 2021, recording a decrease of 0.37% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in Germany’s food service industry’s IT recruitment activity in August 2021

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s food service industry in August 2021.

1) Database and Network Administrators and Architects recorded a share of 50% in August 2021, registering a 50% decline over the previous month.

2) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers claimed a 50% share, a decrease of 66.67% over the previous month.

Top five food service companies in Germany’s IT recruitment activity in August 2021

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average flat growth share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s food service industry during August 2021 over July 2021.

HelloFresh posted 2 IT jobs in August 2021 and registered a drop of 86.67% over the previous month.

Entry Level job postings dominate in August 2021

Entry Level jobs held a share of 50%, down by 50% from July 2021. Junior Level positions with a 50% share, registered a decline of 91.67% compared with the previous month.
