China-based company Haier Group’s IT hiring declined 4.7% in June 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics.
The company’s overall hiring activity an increased by 8.58% in June 2021 when compared with May 2021.
IT jobs claimed an 8.02% share in the company’s total hiring activity in June 2021, and recorded a 0.58% down over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Haier Group IT hiring in June 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Haier Group, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 73.79% in June 2021, and a 7.32% drop over May 2021, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 10.68% in June 2021, and registered a 47.62% decline. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 9.71% in June 2021, a 42.86% rise from May 2021.
Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Haier Group
Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global consumer IT hiring activity in June 2021 with an 87.38% share, which marked a 1.1% drop over the previous month.
North America stood next with 12.62%, registering a 63.89% month-on-month decline.
China commanded a leading presence in the region’s consumer industry IT hiring activity with a 73.79% share in June 2021, a 7.04% growth over May 2021. the US featured next with a 12.62% share, down 63.89% over the previous month.India recorded a 9.71% share, decline of 47.37% compared with May 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead Haier Group IT hiring activity in June 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 88.35%, down by 19.47% from May 2021. Mid Level positions with a 7.77% share, a decline of 11.11% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 3.88% share, down 33.33% over May 2021.
