Denmark-based company Lego’s IT hiring declined 9.2% in June 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics.
The company’s overall hiring activity an increased by 0.58% in June 2021 when compared with May 2021.
IT jobs claimed a 12.47% share in the company’s total hiring activity in June 2021, and recorded a 0.87% down over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Lego IT hiring in June 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Lego, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 85.19% in June 2021, and a 42.5% drop over May 2021, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 7.41% in June 2021, and registered a 50% decline. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 7.41% in June 2021, a flat growth from May 2021.
Europe drives IT hiring at Lego
Europe emerged as the leading region in the global consumer IT hiring activity in June 2021 with an 88.89% share, which marked a 27.27% drop over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 11.11%, registering a 70% month-on-month decline.
Denmark commanded a leading presence in the region’s consumer industry IT hiring activity with an 81.48% share in June 2021, a 4.35% decline over May 2021. China featured next with an 11.11% share, down 70% over the previous month.United Kingdom recorded a 7.41% share, decline of 66.67% compared with May 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead Lego IT hiring activity in June 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 51.85%, down by 53.33% from May 2021. Mid Level positions with a 44.44% share, a growth of 20% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 3.7% share, down 83.33% over May 2021.
