Netherlands construction industry registered a 6.7% rise in IT hiring activity in June 2021 compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics index.
The industry’s overall hiring an increased by 11.1% in June 2021 compared with May 2021.
Out of the construction industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 7.11% share in June 2021, recording decrease of 0.22% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Netherlands construction industry’s IT recruitment activity in June 2021
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Netherlands construction industry in June 2021.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 66.67% in June 2021, an 80% growth over the previous month.
2) Computer and Information Analysts claimed a 14.81% share, an flat growth over the previous month.
3) Computer and Information Research Scientists held a share of 7.41%, registering a 100% rise from May 2021.
4) Database and Network Administrators and Architects captured a share of 7.41%, down 33.33% over the previous month.
Top five construction companies in Netherlands IT recruitment activity in June 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 137.5% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Netherlands construction industry during June 2021 over May 2021.
Vinci posted 6 IT jobs in June 2021 and registered a rise of 20% over the previous month, followed by Royal HaskoningDHV with 4 jobs and a flat growth. NCC with 3 IT jobs and Royal BAM Group with 3 jobs, recorded a 50% growth and a 200% increase, respectively, while Arup Group recorded a flat growth with 3 job postings during June 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 70.37%, up by 72.73% from May 2021. Entry Level positions with a 22.22% share, a growth of 20% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 7.41% share, down 50% over May 2021.
