The industry’s overall hiring increased by 4.55% in July 2021 compared with June 2021.

Top five construction companies in the UK IT recruitment activity in July 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 16.83% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the UK construction industry during July 2021 over June 2021.
Ferrovial posted 42 IT jobs in July 2021 and registered a rise of 68% over the previous month, followed by SYSTRA with 25 jobs and a 43.18% drop. Arup Group with 24 IT jobs and CBRE Group with 14 jobs, recorded a 4.35% growth and a 600% increase, respectively, while Babcock International Group recorded an 85.71% increase with 13 job postings during July 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 60.08%, down by 30.4% from June 2021. Mid Level positions with a 25.86% share, a decline of 21.84% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 11.03% share, up 20.83% over June 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 3.04%, recording a month-on-month decline of 33.33%.
