The value marked a decrease of 20.8% over the previous quarter and a drop of 14.8% when compared with the last four-quarter average, which stood at $10.03bn.

Comparing cross border private equity deals value in different regions of the globe, North America held the top position, with total announced deals in the period worth $4.02bn. At the country level, the US topped the list in terms of deal value at $4.02bn.

In terms of volumes, Europe emerged as the top region for Construction & real estate industry cross border private equity deals globally, followed by Asia-Pacific and then North America.

The top country in terms of cross border private equity deals activity in Q2 2022 India with eight deals, followed by the UK with four and the US with four.

In 2022, at the end of , cross border private equity deals worth $19.34bn were announced globally across the Construction & real estate industry, marking a decrease of 41.5% year on year.
