The value marked an increase of 403.2% over the previous month of $3.41bn and a rise of 472% when compared with the last 12-month average of $3bn.
Europe held a 48.38% share of the global construction & real estate industry M&A deal value that totalled $35.47bn in April 2021. With a 43.76% share and deals worth $15.52bn, France was the top country in Europe’s M&A deal value across construction & real estate industry.
In terms of M&A deal activity, Europe recorded 32 deals during April 2021, marking a decrease of 54.93% over the previous month and a drop of 33.33% over the 12-month average. The UK recorded seven deals during the month.
