The value marked a decrease of 15.8% over the previous month of $3.35bn and a drop of 64.6% when compared with the last 12-month average, which stood at $7.97bn.
Comparing deals value in different regions of the globe, Europe held the top position, with total announced deals in the period worth $1.99bn. At the country level, the Italy topped the list in terms of deal value at $998.26m.
In terms of volumes, Europe emerged as the top region for construction & real estate industry private equity deals globally, followed by North America and then Middle East and Africa.
