Total construction & real estate industry private equity deals worth $21.3bn were announced globally in November 2021, with Global Infrastructure Management and KKRInc’ $15bn private equity deal being the sector’s biggest investment, according to GlobalData’s deals database.

The value marked an increase of 587.4% over the previous month of $3.1bn and a rise of 213.8% when compared with the last 12-month average, which stood at $6.79bn.

Comparing deals value in different regions of the globe, North America held the top position, with total announced deals in the period worth $16.63bn. At the country level, the US topped the list in terms of deal value at $16.5bn.

In terms of volumes, North America emerged as the top region for construction & real estate industry private equity deals globally, followed by Europe and then Asia-Pacific.

The top country in terms of private equity deals activity in November 2021 was the US with 18 deals, followed by the UK with two and Canada with two.

In 2021, as of November, construction & real estate private equity deals worth $92.85bn were announced globally, marking an increase of 36.8% year on year.
