The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 2.93% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.

Out of the construction industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 2.81% share in July 2022, recording a decrease of 0.09% over the last three-month average share.

Top five construction companies in China’s IT recruitment activity in July 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 60.71% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of China’s construction industry during July 2022 over June 2022.

Johnson Controls International posted 17 IT jobs in July 2022 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by ABB with 9 jobs and a 50% growth. Caterpillar with 7 IT jobs and Jones Lang LaSalle with 7 jobs, recorded a 30% decline and a 40% growth, respectively, while Cummins recorded a decline of 28.57% with 5 job postings during July 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 73.86%, down by 10.96% from June 2022. Mid Level positions with an 18.18% share, registered an increase of 23.08% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 6.82% share, up 200% over June 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 1.14%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
