US-based company Cummins IT hiring rose 0.9% in October 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 3.31% in October 2021 when compared with September 2021.
IT jobs claimed a 12.12% share in the company’s total hiring activity in October 2021, and recorded a 0.36% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Cummins IT hiring in October 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Cummins, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 41.46% in October 2021, and a 29.17% drop over September 2021, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 34.76% in October 2021, and registered growth of 11.76%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 9.76% in October 2021, a 60% rise from September 2021.
North America drives IT hiring at Cummins
North America emerged as the leading region in the global construction IT hiring activity in October 2021 with a 71.95% share, which marked a 1.72% rise over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 14.02%, registering an 11.54% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 12.8% share and a 52.27% drop over September 2021.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 1.22% and a month-on-month flat growth.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s construction industry IT hiring activity with a 71.95% share in October 2021, an 8.26% growth over September 2021. The UK featured next with a 12.8% share, up 10.53% over the previous month. India recorded a 9.15% share, an increase of 150% compared with September 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead Cummins IT hiring activity in October 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 74.39%, up by 0.83% from September 2021. Mid Level positions with a 19.51% share, a decline of 13.51% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 5.49% share, down 70% over September 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.61%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
