US-based company Cummins IT hiring rose 12.7% in May 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 4.44% in May 2022 when compared with April 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 7.09% share in the company’s total hiring activity in May 2022, and recorded a 0.29% decline over the last three-month average share.
Database and Network Administrators and Architects tops Cummins IT hiring in May 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Cummins, Database and Network Administrators and Architects emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 34.68% in May 2022, and a 72% rise over April 2022, while Computer Support Specialists claimed a share of 21.77% in May 2022, and registered growth of 80%. Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers held a share of 16.94% in May 2022, a 50% rise from April 2022.
North America drives IT hiring at Cummins
North America emerged as the leading region in the global construction IT hiring activity in May 2022 with a 75.81% share, which marked a 135% rise over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 14.52%, registering a 125% month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with an 8.06% share and a 33.33% drop over April 2022.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 1.61% and a month-on-month flat growth.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s construction industry IT hiring activity with a 70.16% share in May 2022, a 123.08% growth over April 2022. The UK featured next with an 8.87% share, up 83.33% over the previous month. India recorded an 8.06% share, an increase of 150% compared with April 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Cummins IT hiring activity in May 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 83.06%, up by 134.09% from April 2022. Mid Level positions with an 8.87% share, a decline of 26.67% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 8.06% share, up 150% over April 2022.
