Czech Republic’s construction industry registered a 9.7% rise in IT hiring activity in August 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 3.04% in August 2022 when compared with July 2022.
Out of the construction industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 15.81% share in August 2022, recording an increase of 1.96% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Czech Republic’s construction industry’s IT recruitment activity in August 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 98.33% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Czech Republic’s construction industry in August 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 61.67% in August 2022, registering a 27.59% growth over the previous month.
2) Computer and Information Research Scientists claimed a 15% share, an increase of 200% over the previous month.
3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 13.33%, registering a 300% rise from July 2022.
4) Database and Network Administrators and Architects captured a share of 5%, flat growth over the previous month.
Top five construction companies in Czech Republic’s IT recruitment activity in August 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 130.43% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Czech Republic’s construction industry during August 2022 over July 2022.
Honeywell International posted 30 IT jobs in August 2022 and registered a rise of 200% over the previous month, followed by Mann+Hummel with 11 jobs and a flat growth. Rockwell Automation with 5 IT jobs and Atlas Copco with 4 jobs, recorded a 400% growth and a 42.86% decrease, respectively, while Eaton Corporation recorded a decline of 40% with 3 job postings during August 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in August 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 65%, up by 44.44% from July 2022. Entry Level positions with a 30% share, registered an increase of 157.14% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 5% share, flat growth over July 2022.
