Denmark’s consumer industry registered a 4.7% drop in IT hiring activity in March 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 5.5% in March 2022 when compared with February 2022.
Out of the consumer industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 9.76% share in March 2022, recording a decrease of 1.51% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Denmark’s consumer industry’s IT recruitment activity in March 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Denmark’s consumer industry in March 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 77.78% in March 2022, registering a 17.65% decline over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 14.81% share, a decrease of 20% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 5.56%, registering a 25% decline from February 2022.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 1.85%, down 50% over the previous month.
Top five consumer companies in Denmark’s IT recruitment activity in March 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 32% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Denmark’s consumer industry during March 2022 over February 2022.
Lego posted 20 IT jobs in March 2022 and registered a drop of 9.09% over the previous month, followed by Royal Unibrew with 12 jobs and a 7.69% drop. Carlsberg with 7 IT jobs and Pandora with 6 jobs, recorded a 75% growth and a 66.67% decrease, respectively.
Junior Level job postings dominate in March 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 75.93%, down by 21.15% from February 2022. Entry Level positions with a 16.67% share, registered a flat growth compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 7.41% share, down 33.33% over February 2022.
