Denmark’s consumer industry registered a 13.0% rise in IT hiring activity in February 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 13.28% in February 2022 when compared with January 2022.
Out of the consumer industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 10.05% share in February 2022, recording a decrease of 0.26% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Denmark’s consumer industry’s IT recruitment activity in February 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Denmark’s consumer industry in February 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 75.38% in February 2022, registering a 36.11% growth over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 15.38% share, a decrease of 16.67% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 6.15%, registering a flat growth from January 2022.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 3.08%, up 100% over the previous month.
Top five consumer companies in Denmark’s IT recruitment activity in February 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 34.88% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Denmark’s consumer industry during February 2022 over January 2022.
Lego posted 20 IT jobs in February 2022 and registered a rise of 100% over the previous month, followed by Pandora with 18 jobs and a flat growth. Royal Unibrew with 13 IT jobs and Carlsberg with 4 jobs, recorded a 56.67% decline and a 300% growth, respectively, while Danish Crown recorded an increase of 50% with 3 job postings during February 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in February 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 76.92%, up by 47.06% from January 2022. Entry Level positions with a 13.85% share, registered an increase of 50% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 9.23% share, down 60% over January 2022.
