Top five construction companies in Europe’s IT recruitment activity in December 2021

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average growth of 15.57% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Europe’s construction industry during December 2021 over previous month.

Rockwell Automation posted 121 IT jobs in December 2021 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by Eberspacher Climate Control Systems GmbHKG with 91 jobs and a 37.67% drop. COWI Holding with 79 IT jobs and Danfoss with 71 jobs, recorded a 25.4% rise and a 40.34% drop, respectively, while Alpiq Anlagentechnik recorded a 60.53% increase with 61 job postings during December 2021.

Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Europe’s construction industry

The UK commanded a leading presence in the region’s construction industry IT hiring activity with a 23.38% share in December 2021, an 18.97% decrease over November 2021. Germany featured next with a 17.97% share, down 10.74% over the previous month. Poland recorded a 10.34% share, a growth of 93.67% compared with November 2021.

Junior Level job postings dominate in December 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 65.88%, down by 5.34% from November 2021. Entry Level positions with a 17.5% share, registered a decline of 6.5% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 16.22% share, down 9.09% over November 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.41%, recording a month-on-month decline of 45.45%.
