The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 15.72% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.

Out of the construction industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 2.8% share in July 2022, recording an increase of 0.24% over the last three-month average share.

Top five construction companies in France’s IT recruitment activity in July 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 17.24% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s construction industry during July 2022 over June 2022.

Bouygues posted 29 IT jobs in July 2022 and registered a rise of 81.25% over the previous month, followed by Nexans with 26 jobs and a 45.83% drop. Vinci with 20 IT jobs and SPIE with 13 jobs, recorded a 23.08% decline and an 8.33% growth, respectively, while Somfy recorded a decline of 42.86% with 8 job postings during July 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 57.97%, down by 39.85% from June 2022. Mid Level positions with a 21.01% share, registered an increase of 11.54% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 21.01% share, up 70.59% over June 2022.
