The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 9.86% in June 2022 when compared with May 2022.

Out of the construction industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 2.63% share in June 2022, recording an increase of 0.04% over the last three-month average share.

Top five construction companies in France’s IT recruitment activity in June 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 14.78% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s construction industry during June 2022 over May 2022.

Nexans posted 38 IT jobs in June 2022 and registered a rise of 31.03% over the previous month, followed by Vinci with 22 jobs and a 15.38% drop. Bouygues with 16 IT jobs and Somfy with 13 jobs, recorded a 65.96% decline and a 550% growth, respectively, while Compagnie de Saint-Gobain recorded a decline of 18.18% with 9 job postings during June 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 76.62%, down by 18.06% from May 2022. Mid Level positions with a 13.64% share, registered a decline of 30% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 9.74% share, up 66.67% over May 2022.
