France’s consumer industry registered an 11.4% rise in IT hiring activity in September 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 6.61% in September 2021 when compared with August 2021.
Out of the consumer industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 2.95% share in September 2021, recording an increase of 0.26% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in France’s consumer industry’s IT recruitment activity in September 2021
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s consumer industry in September 2021.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 53.06% in September 2021, registering a 23.81% flat growth over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 37.76% share, an increase of 146.67% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 6.12%, registering a 25% decline from August 2021.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 2.04%, flat growth over the previous month.
Top five consumer companies in France’s IT recruitment activity in September 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 89.47% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s consumer industry during September 2021 over August 2021.
Unibel posted 30 IT jobs in September 2021 and registered a rise of 42.86% over the previous month, followed by LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton with 25 jobs and a 127.27% growth. Hermes International with 7 IT jobs and L’Oreal with 6 jobs, recorded a 40% flat growth and a 500% flat growth, respectively, while Groupe Lactalis recorded a flat growth with 4 job postings during September 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 78.57%, up by 48.08% from August 2021. Entry Level positions with an 11.22% share, registered an increase of 120% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 10.2% share, flat growth over August 2021.
