Japan-based company Fujitsu General’s IT hiring declined 15.0% in October 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 8.5% in October 2021 when compared with September 2021.
IT jobs claimed a 29.82% share in the company’s total hiring activity in October 2021, and recorded a 4% decline over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Fujitsu General IT hiring in October 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Fujitsu General, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 66.07% in October 2021, and a 35.09% drop over September 2021, while Computer and Information Analysts claimed a share of 12.5% in October 2021, and registered growth of 75%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 10.71% in October 2021, a 33.33% drop from September 2021.
Europe drives IT hiring at Fujitsu General
Europe emerged as the leading region in the global consumer IT hiring activity in October 2021 with a 96.43% share, which marked a 23.94% drop over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 3.57%, registering a 66.67% month-on-month decline.
The UK commanded a leading presence in the region’s consumer industry IT hiring activity with a 42.86% share in October 2021, a 14.29% growth over September 2021. Germany featured next with a 17.86% share, down 50% over the previous month. Spain recorded an 8.93% share, a decline of 37.5% compared with September 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead Fujitsu General IT hiring activity in October 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 50%, down by 37.78% from September 2021. Mid Level positions with a 35.71% share, a decline of 20% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 10.71% share, flat growth over September 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 3.57%, recording a month-on-month increase of 100%.
